Now I hear that you can't be there either, that you passed away on Tuesday.
Thanks for being my very first boyfriend and that we kept our friendship till the end (despite my fickleness, dumping you at 16) And thanks for making it to the wedding in Alaska. It meant so much to me. Give my love to Beans wherever you guys travel from here.
This makes me tear up. Even more hugs coming your way.
ReplyDeleteOH, Kim. You've both made me laugh (at my place) and cry (here) this morning. I had a bereavement this year, too. You might enjoy reading some of the love that was sent my way by readers in my January 29th post from this year. Big warm hug for you. <3
ReplyDeleteAs someone who's only recently made your aquaintance through the Internet, I'd like to say I'm sorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteKim I'm sending out love to you....xx
ReplyDeletesending much love and a big long virtual hug, dear Kim.
ReplyDeleteThanks you guys, It seems harder to process these things long distance. Thanks for letting me write about it here. I feel some more writing coming out of this.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear of this, Kim...he sounds like someone who touched your life...
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet. I especially love the faded picture of you. Sixteen-year-old loves never die.
ReplyDeleteAlthough this is my 1st time here, I am wishing you peace & beautiful memories! You have a lovely blog & I look forward to following you through all your adventures, your highs & your lows...because that is life, right!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Susie
Oh Kimberley - I am so sorry for your friend's passing. My eyes welled up with tears as soon as I finished reading your beautiful farewell. Thinking of you...
ReplyDeleteI have just found your blog and your post is tender and moving. So lovely that you stayed in touch, a love that endures. My heart leans towards yours as you wander through your feelings.
ReplyDeleteodd, i drew a picture of my boyfriend from that same era this week and it is on my art blog. I am not in touch with him, lost him along the way.
Kim, To loose your first love again is tragic, once at 16 and now again many years later...you never forget your first love...they stay in your heart forever.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are with you. Hugs - Julie
