ReplyDeleteGreat poem/list. Thanks for you comments. Your beads are so beautiful.I figured there were other
ReplyDeleteslight messy folk out there like myself.
Love your poem/list.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for wishing me a happy birthday. Please let me know when you have finished with your background pages. I look forward to seeing them. You may also post them to the Artistic Mother Flickr Group. The Flickr group is for everyone doing the projects from workshop in Shona's book, not just the people in my online art group.
Hi, good to meet you! I too am trying to use what I have, sometimes it goes well, other times I've just gotta have that thing:) Love that bracelet below & your whorls & I've got lists like yours, too.
ReplyDeleteHi there :-)
ReplyDeleteThis was quite fun. Of course, I wanted to ask "why?" several times. Particularly for 4:38, as that is the time of day I'm rounding the bend into being hungry, but haven't eaten yet...and for most people it's 22 minutes before the end of the work day.
So that really intrigued me. It's nice to know when someone has a good association with something I've always sort of ignored, or considered tiresome. I am intrigued by the thought of a lovely 4:38. Perhaps you're interested in being that in order to improve the reputation of the time :-)
And if you are a chiffarobe be on the look out for Mayella Ewell as she has a nefarious scheme with you in mind :-)
Thanks for the comment over on my blog, by the way. Also, I'm usually rather silly at this time of the morning (coffee still being absorbed) but I liked your answers a great deal.
If you were a ____ you'd choose to be something definite and lovely. The "Asian spice with lime" being a particularly vibrant choice that still has me smiling.
What a great exercise. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLand O',
ReplyDeleteThe 4:38 has good associations for me. It was my address as a child and also the time that my son was born.
I also experience that weird phenomena when I sleep of awakening to view my digital clock that seems to
register one hour or another :38.
I wonder if that happens to others.
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment.
this is fun. Thanks for your comment - I often use things which I find by chance - let me know if you are interested n the matchbox swap xx
ReplyDeleteProb Ok international or the swap....I've never organised one before. I'll see what feedback I get this week & decide If I'm going to go ahead !
ReplyDeletesuch a neat little writing exercise... think i will try it myself! :)
